The Challenge

• Contribute to the project success - Successful completion of all commercial and financial related activities required for Project completion
• Ensure the accuracy of project books and records to ensures that they represent a true and fair view incompliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines

• Optimize operating working capital throughout the project lifecycle to ensure positive free cash flow.
• Drive effective contract management throughout the project phase including proactive opportunity and claim management strategies

• Proactively communicate with customer's commercial representatives and manages solving of commercial issues
• Work together with Project Manager in identifying, evaluating and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities – taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities
• Supports Project Manager to select and involve partners / sub-contractors
• Ensures the internal and external Project compliances (like project site compliance, EXIM checks, etc)

The Candidate

• Graduate in accounting with 8-10 years of experience in controlling/accounting of projects
• Commercial professional having an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Hands on experience in commercial operations
• Having good communication skills to effectively interact with different stakeholders within/outside organization
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (expert knowledge of Excel) and SAP
• Project Management Certification will be needed (In Siemens – for handling C category projects)
• Knowledge of The Indian Contract Act,1872.
