As an Analyst within the Markets team, you will provide support to the Collateralized Loan Obligation Structuring/Origination (CLO) & CLO Syndicate teams at JPMorgan, London with a focus on structuring and modeling CLO transactions.


Job Responsibilities


  • Interact with senior Structuring / Originations team members, Syndicate, Legal Counsel and Rating Agencies throughout all phases of the deal
  • Participate in all aspects of deal execution including portfolio analysis, capital structure tranching/rating and documentation
  • Develop knowledge of analytic tools and models required to size transactions for the rating agencies
  • Modeling of CLO transactions for the rating agencies, issuer and investor clients in the various CLO modeling tools
  • Monitor and prepare materials to update senior bankers and marketers with information on the current market, focusing on asset and liability yields, issuance levels, and structural features
  • Create marketing materials for the CLO desk's clients
  • Track and monitor the desk's P&L and reconcile with finance teams who support the desk
  • Prepare materials for internal meetings and approvals
  • Assist in the preparation/completion of investor requests
  • Monitor warehouse exposure
  • Liaise with Middle Office, Finance, and Technology teams

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Candidates must demonstrate a combination of strong analytical, quantitative and written and oral communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
  • Must have strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • High proficiency in coding/VBA/programming skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Experience in Finance, Investment Banking and Global Markets is considered a plus
  • Experience in CLOs or structured finance/ABS is considered a plus
