In this vital role you will be a part of the Productivity Delivery team responsible for improving Amgen’s utilization of tools, automation, data and new ways of working across the enterprise to achieve the organization Productivity strategy. This role combines coaching with strong business analysis skills and training to continuously improve standards, processes, skills and measurements at all levels of the organization to more efficiently deliver innovative biotech solutions.Roles & Responsibilities:Support Productivity transformation efforts within the organization, including the adoption of innovation principles, practices, and mindset. Assess the current state of productivity and develop a roadmap for improvement. Provide guidance and support to teams and leaders.Advise product and platform team delivery events, including Agile PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.Mentor and train teams to improve their performance, collaboration, and delivery capabilities by quickly adopting new productivity accelerators and practicesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs and requirements. Identify process improvements and enablers to enhance team performance and efficiency.Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process changes including team and organization Predictability, Velocity and Productivity KPIProvide training and workshops on productivity improvement principles and practices to teams and stakeholders.Identify and remove impediments that hinder adoption and team productivity. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to experiment, learn, and adapt their processes. Implement metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of Agile delivery practices and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.Build and nurture internal communities of practice to share knowledge, experiences, and standard methodologies. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging Productivity practices and introduce innovative ideas to the organization.WinWhat we expect of youBasic Qualifications:Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of experience in productivity tools, work styles, including AI-enabled delivery and Platform delivery team (Scrum, Kanban) ORBachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of experience in productivity tools, work styles, including AI-enabled delivery and Platform delivery team (Scrum, Kanban) ORDiploma and 10 to 12 years of experience in productivity tools, work styles, including AI-enabled delivery and Platform delivery team (Scrum, Kanban).Preferred Qualifications:Fluency with productivity tools and work styles, including AI-enabled delivery.Large organizational training experienceExperience working as a member of an Agile Product or Platform delivery team (Scrum, Kanban) that designs, develops and releases reusable enterprise enablersGood-to-Have Skills:Workshop facilitation experienceFamiliarity with Lean principles and Scaled Agile Framework practicesAdvanced certifications in business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA)Professional Certifications:SAFe for Teams certification or equivalent - preferredSoft Skills:Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with global, virtual teamsHigh degree of initiative and self-motivation.Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goalsStrong presentation and public speaking skills.ThriveWhat you can expect of usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.In addition to the base salary, Amgen offers competitive and comprehensive Total Rewards Plans that are aligned with local industry standards.Apply nowfor a career that defies imaginationIn our quest to serve patients above all else, Amgen is the first to imagine, and the last to doubt.
