There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.Responsibilities:Provide subject matter expert (SME) level consultation to clients on matters of data center technologies. These technologies include storage systems: SAN and NAS; virtualization platforms: VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V and the associated host (server) hardware platforms that support virtualization platforms; virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI): VMware and Citrix solutions; Microsoft Active Directory and associated on-premises server technologies; as well as backup, replication, and disaster recovery systems and methodologies.  Maintain expert-level knowledge of these evolving technologies.Develop data center architecture for clients, including assisting with the creation of designs, documentations, product quotes, bills of materials, implementation plans, and policies to support clients’ data center infrastructure.  Assist with creating statements of work for client project opportunities to drive profitability.Create, update, modify, and verify internal documentation, procedures, implementation guides, and minimum engagement standards documents to meet changing industry needs and to adhere to well-architected and cyber security best practices.  Update client-specific documentation on a recurring basis.Provide technical mentorship to junior Data Center Team members and other firm employees with client data center responsibilities.Design, implement, configure, and optimize client data center technologies according to firm-established standards.  Adhere to statements of work and ensure projects are completed within the scope and estimated time allocated.Provide data center technology support for clients’ when issues are escalated beyond the capabilities of Tier 1 or Tier 2 support structure.Establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business units, partners, and vendors.Work with team leadership to innovate new, creative, and unique solutions, service offerings, and products for current and prospective firm clients.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:4+ years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, or other related business fieldExpert-level knowledge of one or more of the following areas required:VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-VCitrixHyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions (Dell EMC, HPE, Nutanix, NetApp or VMware, and/or Azure Stack HCI)VMware Horizon or Citrix Virtual Apps and DesktopsVeeam Backup and ReplicationNetApp ONTAPStrong working knowledge of network technologies (all required) including:OSI modelRouting and switching concepts.IP addressing and subnetting.Firewall concepts.Virtualization conceptsStorage conceptsDatabase concepts (SQL and other RDS solutions)Hybrid cloud conceptsWindows server upgradesStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Active DirectoryMicrosoft Windows Server 2016 – 2022 and Active DirectoryGroup Policy ObjectsActive Directory users and groups administrationAzure AD ConnectorActive Directory upgradesTroubleshooting of server/host hardware requiredStrong working knowledge of on-premises server technologies (all required) including:DNSDHCPCertificate ServicesNTPSMTPSNMPWorking knowledge of cyber security concepts required.VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCloud/NSX experience preferred.Experience with the design and administration of Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure services preferred.Ability to read, modify, and create PowerShell scripts preferred.Working knowledge of the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of Linux platforms preferredExperience with administration of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) platforms preferred.Excellent written and oral presentation skills required.Professional-level certification(s) in any Data Center Team technology or products, or willingness/ability to earn certification within first 4 months of employment - such as VMWare Certified Professional (VCP)Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar discipline, or equivalent work history/experience or working towards achieving a degree.Experience in team collaboration required.Experience in providing team development and mentorship to junior co-workers required.WHAT YOU WILL NEED (Desirable)Work experience with Microsoft Windows and/or Linux operating systems.Microsoft Tools.Word.Visio.Presentation.Other requirements:Willingness to work in 2PM to 11PM IST shift.Willingness to work in hybrid model.Comprehend & articulate client’s requirement.Minimal supervision.
