Cloud Financial Management: Develop and implement financial governance frameworks, cost management policies, and procedures for cloud services.
Cost Optimization, Monitoring and Reporting: Identify and execute strategies to optimize cloud costs, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and optimizing storage and data transfer costs.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to create accurate cloud budgets and forecasts and provide insights on variances.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cloud engineering, finance, and business teams to understand cloud usage patterns and drive financial accountability. Generate regular reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

The Cloud FinOps Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing financial governance frameworks, cost management policies, and procedures for cloud services. Work closely with cloud engineering, finance, and business teams to understand cloud usage patterns and drive financial accountability.
You will be working on AWS Cost Explorer, Google Cloud Billing, vcloudsmart along with this should be able to write lambda functions to automate the monitoring and control cost leakages.
