Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Cloud Architect to join our CPE Architecture Team to lead the design and governance of enterprise cloud platforms, architecture patterns, and reusable frameworks.


This will be a key and central role part of Cloud Platform Architecture Team part of CPE Architecture Unit reporting to Head of Cloud Architecture. The role plays a major part to enable scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions that accelerate product development and innovation across the organization.


The Cloud Architect will drive platform standardization, automation, and adoption of best practices for infrastructure, cloud services, and DevOps which serves across multiple business units.


Key Responsibilities


  • Cloud Platform Architecture: Design and evolve enterprise cloud platforms to support scalable, reliable, and secure application and data workloads.
  • Platform Strategy: Develop and maintain an overarching strategy for cloud and platform technologies aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Governance & Standards: Establish architecture standards, design principles, and technical guidelines for Platform Components, Cloud Infrastructure and Services (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS)
  • Security by Design: Zero Trust first, Embed security patterns and controls into platform architecture for identity, data protection, and threat mitigation and work closely with Security team to adhere to Zero Trust and Security by Design
  • Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and product teams to design and implement platform solutions that foster innovation and productivity.
  • Automation & Self-Service Enablement: Drive automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and enable self-service capabilities for development teams.

  • Reusable Patterns & Frameworks: Define, document, and promote platform patterns and reusable components, such as service discovery, monitoring, security, and data processing.
  • Cost Efficiency: Define and optimize platform patterns for efficient resource utilization and cost management.
  • Observability & Monitoring Patterns: Establish observability frameworks, logging, monitoring, and alerting standards for platform health and performance visibility.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide and mentor engineering teams on best practices for platform usage and architecture design.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in platform or cloud architecture, with a focus on large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Proven expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
  • Experience with containerization, orchestration, and service mesh solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio).
  • Deep knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and identity frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing reusable platform patterns and self-service frameworks.
  • Strong communication and partner engagement skills, with experience in technical leadership.

  • Cloud certifications
  • Experience with DevSecOps principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures, API gateways, and microservices design patterns.
