The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Virtualization Team Lead to join our team. You will lead all L2 and L3 support alongside our managed service provider (MSP) and you will be the primary architect and thought leader for all Client Virtualization technologies. You will have a specific focus on Citrix, Windows 365 and adjacent solutions in the space as business requirements evolve. This role requires a strategic thinker with a security-first mindset who can juggle many priorities, manage the overall user experience, ensure system health, and drive continuous improvements.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Primary Architect and Thought Leader: Lead the design, implementation, and management of Client Virtualization technologies, primarily Citrix.
  • Strategic Direction: Develop and implement strategic plans for Client Virtualization services, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Team Scrummaster: Facilitate Scrum processes and ensure effective team collaboration.
  • System Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of Client Virtualization systems, from deployment to decommissioning.
  • Vulnerability Management: Ensure all vulnerabilities are managed and resolved within SLA timelines.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, architecture diagrams, RACIs, and runbooks.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Lead incident and problem management efforts, utilizing ITSM and code event management practices.
  • User Experience Management: Monitor and enhance the overall user experience, making necessary improvements over time.
  • Escalation Point: Serve as the primary point of escalation for issues that the MSP cannot resolve.
  • Operational Rigor: Prioritize work and maintain a high degree of operational rigor for L2/L3 teams.
  • Application and Desktop Provisioning: Manage the provisioning of applications and desktops.

Your Skills and Expertise 


To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


Experience Required:


  • 6+ years of experience supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Service (CVADs)
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Citrix ADC and NetScaler configurations

Preferred Requirements:


  • 1 or more years of experience leading teams consisting of MSP, contract, or full-time staff
  • Experience leading large projects with reporting responsibilities to senior leaders
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and supporting ecosystems
  • Experience with Citrix cloud and Windows 365 IaaS and SaaS solutions
  • Performance and employee experience optimization
  • Experience delivering high quality, actionable service metrics
  • Telecommunications experience
  • Server support experience
  • Desktop support experience

Must be willing to work the EMEA shift
