Job Summary:


As a Client Tax Project Manager within the Client Tax Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing multi-delivery engagements focused on both regulatory obligations and transforming and strengthening the operational processes and controls across lines of businesses. You will apply best in class practices for business analysis and requirements capture, assist in establishing a centralized Tax Operations function, and deliver innovative solutions that improve client experience and reduce costs to the firm


Job responsibilities:


  • Managing project lifecycles, governance, communication, delivery and post-delivery study of effectiveness
  • Applying best in class practices for business analysis and requirements capture by effectively identifying, assessing, documenting and communicating business requirements for in-scope deliverable to technology
  • Assisting in establishing a centralized Tax Operations function by building out the operation by identifying functions currently embedded in various other operations teams and to bring in the functions into the larger Client Tax Ops Team
  • Assisting in the definition of future operating models and controls
  • Assisting in translating business requirements into test plans and overseeing the development and testing of those changes
  • Delivering innovative solutions that improve client experience and reduce costs to the firm
  • Applying a broader mindset to deliver efficiently and consistently across teams and the wider organization
  • Acting as the bridge between all stakeholders including Tax Operations, Technology and Corporate Tax
  • Providing direction across multiple teams and lines of business for resources involved in program delivery
  • Managing communications with stakeholders
  • Managing issue escalation
  • Gaining familiarity with key tax regulatory requirements and their impact on global teams across the firm

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • Previous experience of project management / business analysis experience
  • End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, and change management
  • Proven communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Proven analytical skills to understand a diverse array of products
  • Proven organization and planning skills
  • Detail-oriented with a control mindset
  • Ability to manage unstructured situations and ambiguity
  • Flexible attitude in dealing with multiple tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for owning actions
