Citrix AVD Principal Engineer
Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Citrix AVD Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting, implementing, and managing Citrix solutions, specifically in the AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure Citrix AVD solutions for various business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing Citrix AVD deployments for performance and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix environments to ensure high availability and quick resolution of issues.
- Develop documentation for architecture designs, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay current with Citrix technologies and best practices to recommend improvements and new solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Citrix technologies with a focus on AVD.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools for deployment and management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA, CCP) are a plus.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
