As we gear up to modernize our operations and expand into the e-commerce space, we are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead this transformative phase. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of retail technology, a proven ability to develop scalable tech solutions, and a strategic approach to driving digital growth and operational efficiency.Role OverviewThe CTO will spearhead our technology strategy, focusing on streamlining retail processes, optimizing IT infrastructure, and establishing a robust foundation for our e-commerce expansion. Additionally, the CTO will oversee hardware management across all retail outlets and corporate offices. This pivotal role includes leading a dedicated team of IT professionals to ensure seamless execution of all technological initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Strategy and Execution:Design and implement a technology roadmap aligned with our long-term business objectives, prioritizing both retail operations and e-commerce.Lead the adoption and customization of ERP systems to support retail operations.Introduce and oversee advanced technologies to improve inventory management, customer experience, and overall operational efficiency.E-commerce Development:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and launch our e-commerce platform, ensuring scalability and seamless customer experiences.Deploy digital tools for inventory tracking, order management, and customer analytics, creating a unified online and offline experience.System Integration and Optimization:Drive the integration of technology into existing retail processes, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Ensure smooth interoperability between IT systems and e-commerce platforms.Hardware Management:Oversee the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of all hardware across retail outlets and corporate offices.Ensure high availability and performance of hardware systems to support business operations.Team Leadership:Build and mentor a high-performing technology team to support all IT initiatives.Inspire a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across the technology division.Cybersecurity and Compliance:Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks to protect systems and data.Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations and data protection standards.Vendor and Partner Management:Identify, evaluate, and collaborate with external technology partners, vendors, and consultants to drive successful project outcomes.Assess and implement technology solutions that align with business needs and future goals.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on retail operations or similar sectors.Proven expertise in implementing ERP systems, retail technologies, and digital commerce solutions.Prior experience in the gems and jewellery sector will be given preference.Hands-on experience in designing and scaling e-commerce platforms is a strong advantage.Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.What We OfferCompensation: ₹20-40 LPA, along with performance-linked incentives.A strategic role in shaping our digital transformation and driving the future of luxury retail.A collaborative, innovation-driven work culture that values professional growth.Opportunities for advancement in a rapidly modernizing organization.
