The LCCI Hyderabad Site COO, in partnership with the LCCI Hyderabad leadership team, plays a key role in lead the development and execution of strategic priorities and drive operational excellence. This includes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and driving transformation, fostering technological advancements, and aligning cutting-edge capabilities with the organization's long-term vision. leading the development and execution of the strategic roadmap for the site, encompassing new business transformation opportunities.
This position sits on the lead team for LCCI Hyderabad site and reports directly to the Hyderabad Site leader. This position also collaborates & partners closely with the COO’s for the other sites within India to help achieve synergies at a One India Hub level.
In this role the COO will focus on following: Strategy and planning, operational oversight and optimization, driving innovation, stakeholder management and building synergies across teams, change management and customer-centric innovation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as ‘chief of staff’ for the Central lead team of LCCI Hyderabad by overseeing lead team meetings/off-sites, site visits, critical activities, and processes, ensuring follow-up on actions - which includes consolidation of all activities involving Hyderabad site.
- Oversee the annual strategic plan and business plan processes, in partnership with site functions.
- Steward governance for site to ensure compliance, agility and execution to drive the most important strategic initiatives. Monitor the progress on key milestones and take action to escalate/remove barriers.
- Proactively assess strategic and capability gaps across India and identify emerging trends that can bring value to the business developing proposals on which to adopt and implement
- Ensure thorough and meaningful measurement and analytics to help drive our business and better serve our customers
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including developing and monitoring performance metrics closely, ensuring that the outputs align with organizational goals.
- Ensure processes are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, especially regarding data privacy laws
- Promote an innovation-driven culture which fosters an environment where new ideas related to AI, automation, and other cutting-edge technologies are encouraged, tested, and scaled.
- Align the AI and automation efforts with customer needs, ensuring the solutions developed have practical, real-world applications.
- Drive connectivity between sites in India and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic objectives
- Partner with the LCCI Hyderabad Lead Team to build strategic partnerships with startups, technology providers, or academic institutions to bring in new knowledge, tools, and expertise.
- Align and represent cross function efforts and Corporate/Global initiatives – act as single point of contact across site and between sites at an enterprise level with the COO for One India
- Lead and manage special projects
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with MBA degree is preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, chief of staff or strategy & transformation, process improvement roles
- Demonstrated experience in converting strategies into actionable steps, building governance systems that ensure execution with excellence.
- Experience working effectively in a highly changing and dynamic environment, demonstrating ability to learn and adjust quickly, and bring others along when designing or implementing new ideas.
- Experience in defining and executing continuous improvement and/or automation programs to drive improved business outcomes.
- Business Knowledge – includes value added perspective, financial awareness and cost control, industry knowledge, strategic focus, diverse business experience.
- Communicate (written and orally) in a highly effective way with Senior Leaders – focusing on content, outcomes and value relevant to business leaders.
