We are looking for Change Manager for TK Projects


What do you contribute?


As a Change and Configuration Manager at TK Projects (m/f/d), you will oversee engineering changes and maintain consolidated configuration data for a complete urban railway system.


Your responsibilities include:


  • Managing change processes to ensure all changes are identified and system coherence is maintained.
  • Coordinating with subsystems to follow up on implementation.
  • Identifying key stakeholders for each change and reviewing solutions in close collaboration with subsystems.
  • Striving for product (here the complete Railway) excellence to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Moderating decision boards and ensuring follow-up on implementations.
  • Creating and publishing change progress and status reports.

Additionally, as the Configuration Manager, you will be:


  • Coordinating the collection and updating of the overall system configuration.
  • Implementing configuration management tools according to department guidelines, thus ensuring continuous traceability of assets.
  • Training and guiding subsystem configuration managers and animating this community.
  • Creating and publishing configuration progress and status reports.

Desired Skills:


  • Degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, preferably with railway‑specific specialisation
  • Solid project management experience (minimum 4 years desired) and good understanding of project management topics.
  • Professional experience in railway transportation systems and in the execution of the construction of rail projects
  • Basic knowledge on major subsystems of a railway turnkey project, e.g. Signalling, Railway Communication, Electrification, Power Supply, Rolling Stock, SCADA, Track Work, etc.
  • Extended knowledge of tabular system IT- tools (e.g., Excel, MS Access incl. VBA programming and SQL data bases)
  • Experience in reading and understanding of contractual technical requirements
  • Independent and structured approach to work
  • Functional team animation and capacity for getting things done in matrix organisation
  • Excellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills
  • High level of customer and quality orientation
  • Fluent English essential, good knowledge of German and other foreign languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic an advantage
