Job Description

Objective / Purpose of duty:


  • Supporting the Project delivery function in terms of scheduling, productivity planning and contract management

Main responsibilities:


  • Project Scheduling in MSP and Primavera.
  • Tracking of Project in terms of Productivity, delay analysis in terms of baseline scheduled dates
  • Meeting with clients, stake holders and project managers to report on project progress
  • Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
  • Devising cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
  • Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
  • Supporting Project managers with status of the projects.
  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
  • Certification from NICMAR is mandatory. PMP will be preferred.
  • Should be capable in understanding contract terms.
  • Should be able to send contractual letters to Client for dependency and delays as per the approved schedule.
  • Adherence to JCI processes/ policies/ standards with process audits.

Skill Set :


Leadership and business management skills NICMAR certification is mandatory. PMP certification will be preferred. Knowledge on Primavera and MSP. Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software Persistence and determination Able to use your initiative Be thorough and pay attention to detail Mathematics knowledge Excellent verbal communication skills

Project tracking as per approved schedule. Productivity analysis Managing team of planners to get the project tracking in place. Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change. Manages the process of innovative change effectively. Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices. Teamwork Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions. Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential. Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner. Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members. Mitigates team conflict and communication problems. Plans and facilitates regular team activities outside of the office. Client Management. Sets and manages client expectations. Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties. Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives.


Qualification:


B.E. in Instrumentation & Control/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical


Preferable - PMP certification / Course


Experience:


B.E. with 15-18 years relevant industry experience


Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:


KNOWLEDGE:

Instrumentation concepts. Electrical concepts. Knowledge ELV systems Knowledge of basic engineering activities like, review of P&ID’s and process datasheets. Knowledge of FAS & Security engineering/ design of control for FAS & Security systems. Knowledge of NFPA-72 & BS 51389 standards Analytical  and conflict management skills Leadership ability
