Job Description

Join the Card Marketing Analytics team, where we drive the strategy and effectiveness of Chase’s Credit Card marketing campaigns. Leverage our insights to optimize future initiatives and maximize the impact of Chase’s multimillion-dollar marketing investments.


As a Senior Associate within the Card Data and Analytics team you will focus on translating customer behavioral data into insights that drive marketing strategies to influence card acquisitions on digital/offline channels. You will develop, plan, and execute on analytical projects as an individual contributor. We are seeking an Associate ready to be a key member of the Channel Analytics team to work closely with Analysts, Channel Marketing and Risk partners, Data Owners, and Product Owners to deliver capabilities that unlock the power of our data.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Conduct analysis of the credit card application funnel to enhance pended and completion rates, aiming to increase account volume and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving application performance, supporting data-driven decisions to boost conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with channel, product, and finance teams to execute analytical strategies that optimize overall performance.
  • Work with marketing strategy managers across digital channels to refine campaigns, develop innovative strategies, and enhance analytics capabilities for acquiring new cardholders.
  • Provide timely and insightful analytics to support business growth targets by analyzing key trends from large datasets.
  • Transform extensive data into actionable insights to guide business and marketing strategies effectively.
  • Communicate data insights compellingly to senior leadership through storytelling, presentations, and visualizations to drive actionable outcomes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Minimum 7 years of experience in quantitative analytics for financial products, with a focus on card marketing strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as business, data science, finance, economics, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Extensive experience querying big data platforms/languages (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, SQL, Python) and using visualization tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Tableau).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate analytics and forecasts to business partners and leadership.
  • Proven ability to create analytical datasets by wrangling data across multiple platforms/sources using tools like SQL, SAS, Python, or Alteryx.
  • Expertise in generating analytical insights through ad-hoc or automated summary views using tools like Tableau or Excel.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and coding automation frameworks to improve existing processes and data handling.
