We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
- Understand the existing Carbon Framework and work closely with the consuming teams and other stakeholder to support and evolve it.
- Work with Lead Engineers, Architects and Carbon Framework consumers to clarify requirements and create low level design for it and then implement and release it.
- Work with Carbon Framework consumers to address their queries and concerns about the framework and assist them in the usage. As a part of this improve documentation and develop reference applications / APIs.
- Refine user stories with Lead Engineer to ensure they are ready for development.
- Assess the benefits, risks, and dependencies of various solution options by participating in technical conversations.
- Approach technical challenges with an open collaborative mind-set.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, support engineering team, raise flags, challenge status quo, and ensure right thing is done.
- Advocate for and meet high professional standards of development using technologies like Java 21, Sprint Boot 3, Kotlin 1.9, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Groovy etc. and microservices engineering and architecture best practices and patterns.
- Implement product features and deliver appropriate and comprehensive tests as part of every deliverable.
