Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and strategic Capacity Planner to join our rapidly growing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze data, forecast resource requirements, and optimize capacity to ensure efficient resource allocation and support business objectives, ensuring that we can meet current and future demands effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. This role requires a proactive approach to anticipate needs, optimize resource allocation, and maintain operational efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Key job responsibilities
1. Capacity Forecasting:
* Analyze historical data and current trends to forecast future resource requirements for the growing team.
* Collaborate with department heads and project managers to understand upcoming staffing needs and project timelines.
* Develop and maintain capacity models and projections to inform strategic decision-making.
* Create estimated Trainer capacity to deliver against forecast basis on the derived headcount plan along with monthly recompilation of training numbers.

2. Data Analysis:
* Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to resource utilization, project demand, and workforce trends.
* Develop models and algorithms to forecast capacity requirements based on historical data and future projections.
* Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data to assist the leadership in taking informed capacity planning decisions.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
- Knowledge of Python, VBA, Macros, Selenium scripts
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
- Business Analytics and Capacity Planning experience.
