Background and Role summary


The Campaign and Performance Marketing manager will be responsible for developing, executing and optimizing the Account-based marketing (ABM) and Commercial Coverage marketing campaign strategies to support revenue priorities.


In this full-time position, you will play a key role in identifying the best channels and marketing tactics that will reach the target audience and deliver on the sales objectives and demonstrate ROI.


You will take a lead in optimizing the performance of the ABM and Commercial Coverage campaigns by working with the marketing channel leads, providing frameworks, best practice and guidance to ensure a consistent approach to campaigns throughout the team. In addition, to developing and executing marketing campaigns.


You will be part of the ABM and European Marketing team and you will be required to work collaboratively with the coverage commercial coverage marketing team, product marketing team, customer insights and analytics, digital team and, if necessary, third-party contractors or agencies to deliver the projects according to plan.


This role will be 60-70% focused on performance marketing and 30-40% focused on campaign management.


Responsibilities include (but not limited to):


From a Performance Marketing management perspective:


  • Working with the ABM and commercial coverage marketing managers lead on developing integrated marketing campaigns: Devising full-funnel marketing strategies, using a variety of channels including email, social media, paid media and webinars to drive brand awareness, lead generation and pipeline acceleration.  
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns using Marketo, Adobe, 6Sense and other tools to create highly targeted and personalized customers experiences
  • Work with marketing channels including digital to execute on campaign activities including, email campaigns, webinars, social and paid media.
  • Establish campaign processes and best practices: Define streamlined, scalable workflows and procedures for campaign planning, execution, performance and measurement especially around lead generation. Continuously evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Estimate the resources, timescales and participants needed to achieve marketing campaigns and project goals.

From a Campaign management perspective:


  • Support the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan for our commercial coverage revenue priorities.
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns, events and digital initiatives to drive brand awareness and lead generation

From a stakeholder management perspective


  • Stakeholder alignment: Ensure clear and regular communication with key stakeholders. Provide campaign performance updates and recommendations to leadership to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. digital, customer and analytics, product marketing) to drive best practice across the organization.
  • Manage third-party relationships and/or agencies to help deliver best in class performance in particular our paid media agency
  • Work with analytics team to create a consistent measurement and reporting framework for ABM and Commercial Coverage marketing activity that tracks the campaign effectiveness against our OKRs

Profile Requirements


  • Relevant marketing and communications experience, preferably in a B2B financial services and / or technology organization (At least 5 years)
  • Commercially minded with a track record in marketing campaign management with high growth targets / ambitious objectives while delivering the brand message across appropriate marketing channels
  • You must be digital through and through and understand the full channel mix with experience in content, digital and email marketing.
  • Experience of paid media planning and buying, and subsequent evaluation
  • Ability to manage third parties to deliver high quality projects to plan and on budget
  • Experience in B2B lead and demand generation
  • Account-based marketing experience, with a good understanding of the different strategies, one to one, one to few and one to many (essential)
  • Working, communicating and influencing with senior levels in an organisation
  • Working in cross cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globally (preferred)
  • Flexible hours may be required to manage projects across regions / time zones 

Key Skills


  • Strong communication skills – your role will include presentations to business stakeholders
  • Project management and a good understanding of marketing deliverables and timeframes
  • Hands-on experience using Marketo (or other marketing automation software) required
  • Experience with Salesforce, Adobe
  • Experience managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Strategic, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated accuracy and high attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
