Siemens Limited India is looking for a highly skilled CAD Modeling Specialist (NX) to join our Engineering Standards team. The ideal candidate will combine professional 3D CAD modeling skills with strong communication and coordination abilities to ensure the successful development and implementation of technical solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity for personal growth and development, as well as the chance to make a significant impact on our organization's digital end-to-end value chain.


Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:


  • Maintain and update our best practices using NX CAD with specific methods and philosophies suited for modeling gas turbine components and systems
  • Support user community in application of CAD functionality to enable and improve design of gas turbine components
  • Promote seamless end-to-end availability of CAD models through design phase, manufacturing, and whole product lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with component design teams to develop and implement CAD applications, methods and tools based on their requirements
  • Represent the Engineering Standards group regarding modeling and product definition towards a large community of CAD users, as well as internal Stakeholders such as Engineering management or interfacing organizations
  • Based on experience and knowledge in the areas of standards, product lifecycle management and your CAD expertise, contribute to our future PLM data architecture and processes as an active member of our digitalization initiative

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a related field;
  • Extensive experience/knowledge of NX CAD modeling software including understanding of CAD foundations
  • General knowledge of relevant standards for product definition
  • General knowledge of PLM data management tools & methods
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Desire to grow and develop both personally and professionally
  • Optional: Programming knowledge, esp. using Python or C# in conjunction with NXOpen
