Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified Technical Lead Developer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++, Linux, Perl, MySQL, Sybase, and Oracle. This role involves quickly understanding the functional aspects of the offer system and leading the development of client-side C++ service changes based on MVP2 Banking Checking account use cases, including alerts and batch-related Perl scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand Software Requirements:
  Quickly grasp the functional aspects of the offer system to effectively drive development efforts.
• Lead Development Efforts:
  Oversee and contribute to the development of client C++ service-side changes, focusing on MVP2 Banking Checking account use cases and alerts.
• Batch Processing:
  Develop and maintain Perl scripts for batch-related changes, ensuring they are efficient and effective.
• Database Management:
  Utilize MySQL, Sybase, and Oracle databases for data management, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate Across Teams:
  Work closely with product managers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Version Control & Deployment:
  Understand and manage GIT for version control, and work with deployment pipelines to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software changes.
• Mentorship:
  Provide guidance and support to junior developers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices within the team.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C++ with a focus on service-side development.
• Solid experience with Linux operating systems.
• Proficient in Perl scripting for batch processing tasks.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies: MySQL, Sybase, and Oracle.
• Familiarity with GIT version control and deployment pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience:

• 6 to 8 years of experience in software development, particularly in C++ and backend technologies.
• Proven experience in leading technical projects and mentoring development teams.
• Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and understand complex functional requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
