What you’ll do:


The primary responsibilities of this role are to Design & Developing software stack for HPE Servers on premise and in the cloud.  The candidate should have detailed knowledge in Computer Architecture, Operating Systems & its administration. Should have good Analytical, communication & presentation skills who can strive in fast paced environments. The candidate should have good experience in agile software development models. Candidate with following skills / experience is most suitable for this role.


Roles and Responsibilities.


  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.    
  • Proactively drives the development of new ideas and methods from the scratch.
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
  • Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
  • Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.    
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to junior employees.

What you need to bring:


Education and Experience Required:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Typically 6+ years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Designing software systems running on multiple platform types.
  • Experience in end to end system design and architecture, provides design documentation, works with customers and internal teams to enhance the product and define requirements.
  • Able to apply proven design patterns to solve design challenges.
  • Demonstrated track record of learning new technologies, designing & developing software’s stacks.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging capability    
  • Have knowledge on virtualization and container technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.  
  • Knowledge of server hardware (especially HPE ProLiant) a plus.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to junior employees.

Skills needed


  • Strong working knowledge of C & C++ and Objection Oriented languages
  • Strong knowledge of OS concepts
  • Working knowledge of design patterns and their application
  • Working knowledge of C/C++ application debugging using gdb, Visual Studio, CMake
  • Exposure to systems programming, virtualization and container technologies
  • Python and shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience with at least one OS like Linux (RHEL, SLES, Oracle Linux), VMware ESXi Host or Windows server
  • Exposure to storage concepts such as RAID, SCSI, SATA, FC, NVMe
  • Exposure to IO devices – such as NIC, FC, Ethernet, InfiniBand, GPU, Storage
  • Able to work in a small team with rapid turn around and tight build schedules
