This role is based at our Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra facility supporting Analytical Instrument Group. The facility is ISO 9001 certified site. At this location we provide solutions to our Environmental Process Monitoring customers.


The Deputy Manager Sourcing drives the supplier management processes to meet company objectives. Collaborates with a cross-functional team of project management, technical, quality, finance and other key colleagues to prioritize sourcing initiatives, develops sourcing strategies, negotiates contracts, supports spend migration from incumbent to preferred suppliers, and runs preferred supplier relationships.


  • You will be actively handling Procurement to Pay (P2P) process.Monitor market intelligence and key trends to refine buying plans to support business requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing and supply contracts to ensure fair market value while protecting our company's interests.
  • Handle inflation, sourcing savings, and purchased-part variances (PPV) to ensure operational goals are achieved.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Operations leadership to handle inventory and supply demands against the forecasts for standard product lines.
  • Work closely with the project teams to ensure material deliveries and sourced products are aligned to meet customer expectations.
  • Actively participate in New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) teams to help secure materials and vendor contracts.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechanical, Master’s degree in SCM will be an added advantage

Experience -


  • 5 to 7 years’ relevant procurement/sourcing experience in a EMS/ Electronics procurement in a manufacturing environment, Sheet metal and Fabrication.
  • Experience in Vendor Development, Inventory Management Strategies, Inventory Control Tools, Material Planning
  • Additional experience in planning, manufacturing, quality, or engineering subject areas desired
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Solid understanding of buying strategies, supply chain processes, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and Presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP systems.
  • Ability to handle Import Procurement Process
