Buyer for Supply Chain Support (based in Gurugram, India).

We are looking for a Buyer to be based in Gurugram, India. In this position you will have steering transformation and development of supply chain through the implementation of supply chain processes & tools, sustainable practices, and support transfer pricing activities along with area logistics coordination.
In this position, you will be required to:
Timely Purchase order placing against the requirements received from Planning and sales Team. Update Order Acknowledgments in the system and ensure it is matching with purchase order. Follow up on late lines with suppliers. Update/communicate the rescheduled dates to sales team. Work on daily issues (Item lost, warranty) with suppliers, PO amendments and communicate to the sales team. Follow up with supplier for missing order acknowledgments. Work on invoice that are stuck in processing by cordially working with the Supplier and Finance team via Call and emails. Identify the process improvement ideas and work on it. Develop and implement an MIS system for internal communication. Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to the management team. Creating, analyzing and communicating MIS documentation to facilitate efficient supply chain operations and improve supply chain KPIs. Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing functional efficiency and effectiveness. Provide support to improve and standardize existing management information systems (MIS). Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner. To succeed in this role, you will need:
Knowledge of supply chain management. Min. 3 years of experience in supply chain data management. Ability to work independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of ERP like Baan, and LN. Self-directed and motivated. Use of computers, keyboards, telephones, copiers, Mail. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Good communication and presentation skills
