As a Senior Consultant, you will be the driving force behind successful project delivery for our teams. You will collaborate closely with our internal cloud teams, leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding expectations. This role demands a highly organized, proactive individual with exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of navigating complex projects and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent from a premiere institute;
  • Have 14+ Years of software engineering and architecture experience in a fast-paced corporate environment;
  • Experience in financial services/payments /Banking verticals.
  • Prior experience leading onshore and offshore delivery projects, including working overlapping business hours to partner with onshore teams;
  • Extensive experience in developing applications and web based systems and solutions;
  • Understanding of logical and physical database architectures and operating systems;
  • Extensive experience in release management and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to interact in global environment with colleagues and employees in different geographical regions;
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture of Java-based enterprise applications.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions.
  • Define and maintain architecture standards, best practices, and technical governance.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Drive technical discussions with engineering, product, DevOps, and QA teams.
  • Perform code reviews and provide guidance to developers on architectural patterns and design principles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and balance non-functional requirements (security, scalability, availability).
  • Mentor junior architects and developers to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Technical Skills:


  • Have strong software architecture design skills
  • Proficient in system design, domain-driven design (DDD), and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and security best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and security best practices.
  • Strong experience in Java programming including, Servlets,JDBC, JMS, Spring, Spring JDBC, JEE & Eclipse IDE
  • Experience with Agile software development practices and tools
  • Have experience in dependency management and build tools such as Gradle, Maven, Ant and Ivy
  • Experience in UNIX, Linux & Shell scripting experience
  • Experience in managing the delivery of software projects
  • Experience in SOA testing tools such as SOAPUI
  • Experience in modeling XML Schema with either XMLSpy or OxygenXML
  • Experience in meta data driven ETL tools
  • Must have excellent debugging skills
  • Strong familiarity with source code management and continuous integration/delivery processes and tools like SVN and Jenkins
  • Experience with SOA and micro-services design principles and patterns
