Job Summary


The Red Hat GTM Sales Incentives team is looking for a Sales Incentive System Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will focus primarily on facilitating the Sales Incentives team to build a Sales Incentive system. You will interact frequently with key leadership from across the globe. This will provide you with the opportunity to sharpen your quantitative analysis skills and to develop well-rounded business insight through working with senior leadership. Your success as a Sales Incentive System Analyst will depend on your ability to understand business requirements related to the domain and implement those requirements in the system.


What will you do?


  • Meet and coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements.


  • Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow.


  • Manage the set-up and configuration of systems (Varicent).


  • Act as a bridge to eliminate the gap between highly technical specifications and non-technical/business requirements.


  • Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process.


  • Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of the systems to meet business and user needs.


  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.


  •  Assist in the creation of system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.


  • Assist in troubleshooting software application issues and change management.


  • Identify opportunities that can improve the efficiency of business processes and system processing times.


  • Investigate tickets raised by internal team members on ServiceNow and provide solutions.


What will you bring?


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience


  • 3+ years experience working with Varicent


  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions


  • Experience configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems, preferably sales incentive or SPM systems


  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration with working knowledge of SQL, Access


  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of practice specific concepts and best practices within the Sales Performance Management (SPM) domain


  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills


  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities


  • Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.


  • Working knowledge of a variety of programming languages is a plus
