About the team
Our team at FIS is the core team developing the Risk & Compliance suite for banks, insurances and other institutions that need to manage financial risks. We have a broad and solid customer base with hundreds of large clients around the world.
Our Windows based multi-tier solution features a high-performance calculation service in C#, a .NET GUI, a web reporting layer running on IIS and relational databases. Our TeamCity DevOps infrastructure delivers continuous integration from development teams across multiple cities and countries. We exercise a high level of quality control with intra-team code reviews and multiple layers of testing.
What you will be doing
As a business analyst a, you will be working on a product in the regulatory risk domain. This product covers regulatory reporting across ALM, liquidity, credit risk, counterparty credit risk for EBA, PRA, FINMA jurisdictions. The area of work would be related to developing Regulatory Reports mainly for Credit Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk.
Your main responsibilities would include -
1.Referring regulatory guidelines to understand the requirement and prepare specification. This is also required to validate regulatory calculations.
2.Liaising with senior BA and product management to finalize specification and design for regulatory reports.
3.Liaising with dev team to get the reports implemented.
4.Functional testing of reports after development, signing off features
5.Active participation in scrum process and JIRA board updates
6.Documentation of release notes, user guides
7.Client issues support and resolution
8.Presentation of functionality to relevant stakeholders and sales teams
9.Ownership for process improvements and product delivery
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
1.Hands-on experience in preparing and populating regulatory reporting for Credit Risk and Counterparty Risk
2.Understanding of different approaches for calculation of above regulatory risks
3.Ability to understand requirement from regulatory documents and translate to solution design
4.Knowledge of financial instruments, financial markets
5.Knowledge of Basel 2/3/4 jurisdictions, EBA CRR2, PRA, or other regulations
6.Highly professional, client focus and passion for learning
7.Good understanding of Agile development practices.
8.Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Additional requirements (good to have) –
·Technical Knowledge – familiarity with SQL database and querying
Qualifications & Experience Level
·Bachelor’s degree / MBA Finance/ or any equivalent degree in Finance-related discipline
·Previous work experience in Banking or finance domain
·Overall experience from 7-10 years
