Product Support Specialist / Business Analyst

Required Exp Level - 0-6.5 Years

What you will be doing

This position works with a market risk development and Investment Risk Clients (Risk Managers / Fund Managers) to:

• Understand statistical factor models that are basis for market risk investment
• Understand various risk measures (Volatility / Var / Exposure / Scenario analysis)
• Estimate factor models that are based on Arbitrage Pricing Theory
• Understand current and historical market data used in the model production and identify any missing data.
• Proactively work with Investment Risk Clients and support their usage of Investment Risk applications
• Identify any problems with models or the processes and raise the issue with development team.

What you bring:

Knowledge

• knowledge of financial markets, derivatives and statistics
• Ability to communicate well with Clients
• Knowledge of data bases such SQL and some scripting language (R/Python).

Experience

• Experience in Investment Risk Management
• Good experience in Financial Data Acquisition, Data Validation and Data Quality

Skills

• Ability to understand requirements and processes quickly
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong in Excel, Word
• knowledge of a programming language - VB / R / Python   
• FRM or CFA
• BE / MBA / MS Maths - Finance
