<The Business Systems Analyst Role is responsible for reviewing the current state system and come up with the future state requirements by working closely with the Business Stakeholders as well as the IT stakeholders. Should be able to validate the requirements given by the ERM team and check the feasibility for implementing the same.
The person appointed will be an integral member of the Enterprise Risk Management Team and is expected to participate in all stages of the product development life cycle starting from analysis, design, implementation, testing & post production support. The role will involves collaborating with Business Stakeholders, Developers, Architects, Testers and End Users at all levels to ensure the solution meets the business needs.>
<Main duties
• Documenting the requirements shared by the ERM team in a detailed manner so it can cover all possible flows of the use case.
• Detailed Analysis & probing of the requirement with the ERM or the end users to understand the from all aspects such as business benefit in terms of Cost Savings, Reducing Risk or Improving Efficiency of the end Users or Improving the Time taken to do the same activity/task in the current state.
• Coming up with Data Mapping documents for any data sourcing requirements
• Ability to capture the data transformation logic in a very detailed manner with examples/scenarios so the team can understand the requirement clearly and there is no scope for ambiguity
• Should be able to write complex SQL queries to query the data from the database or join multiple tables and retrieve the data for analysis or investigating issues in the data processing
• Should be able to create detailed flow diagrams/use case diagrams to explain all the possible flows of the system
• Should be able to do detailed analysis on the edge case scenarios and call out the deasired system behavior with the implementation team to make sure the future state system hanldes the errors gracefully
• Ability to write test cases and traceability matrices for tracking the delivery of all functional requirements or to ensure the expected system functionality is fully implemented.
• Should have the ability to guide and groom junior team members/freshmen/interns

Knowledge and experience
>
<Strong knowledge of SQL, writing complex SQL Queries, Experience with Data Analysis is required >
< Experience in the BFSI Industry is a must preferably Risk Domain i.e.Credit Risk, Market Risk etc. >
<Should posses education background in the Finance domain, if not a degree, at least a certification in Risk Management is required>
<Experience in writing Data Mapping documents, Use Case Documents, Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications Documents etc. is a must >
<Excellent communication and presentational skills, confident and methodical approach, and able to work within a team environment>
<Should have the right attitude behavior & patience as this role requires liasing with the End Users, ERM Business Stakeholders, IT Colleagues and Senior Leadership>
<Certification in FRM, CFA or Similar is preferred>
<Certification in Business Analysis or Data Analysis is preferred but not mandatory>
