Business Strategist


The Challenge


This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing team that provides consulting services for Adobe Digital Media solutions! The Adobe consulting team is responsible for providing experienced skills in implementing Adobe applications and integrating complementary Adobe enterprise solutions and collaborating with clients' existing IT infrastructure.


We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Business Strategist to serve as the strategic authority within the organization. Their responsibility is not only to have a deep understanding of the market landscape, industry trends, and competitive dynamics but also to comprehend the broader implications of every strategic decision, initiative, and business model available. A Business Strategist might not know every detail, but they have the insight to identify gaps, research effectively, and communicate their findings and recommendations clearly to customers.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive adoption of Adobe Digital Media solutions across enterprise customers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and improving value realization.
  • Collaborate with key collaborators to identify growth opportunities, analyze usage trends, and implement targeted initiatives to enhance engagement and success metrics within customer organizations.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive business strategies that align with organizational goals and market demands.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (critical metrics) to evaluate the success of strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Identify inefficiencies within business operations and propose solutions to streamline processes.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to define and prioritize critical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations, finance) to implement strategies effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to provide actionable insights.
  • Identify and evaluate new business models and revenue streams.
  • Communicate and coordinate well with Customer team members as well as consultants and managers

Qualifications


  • Education:
  • Bachelors or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and CRM platforms
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting and planning
  • Advanced knowledge of strategy frameworks (e.g., SWOT, PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces).
  • Competence in business intelligence tools and scenario planning.
  • Professional Experience:
    • 9-10 years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or a similar role
    • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful business strategies
    • Experience in leading high-stakes projects and managing cross-functional teams.
    • Background in scaling operations or expanding into new markets.
    • Exposure to diverse industries or global market environments.
    • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in multi-functional teams.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Innovative approach to overcoming business challenges.
  • Leadership: Strong capability to influence and lead teams toward common objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Comfort in navigating ambiguity and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments and external partners.
  • Time Management: Expertise in prioritizing tasks and managing tight deadlines.
