Job DescriptionResponsible for analysis and evaluation of user business problems and development of technical visualization solutions to meet requirements, including problem definition, evaluation of requirements, and implementation of systems/processes.
May participate in business systems planning to define or upgrade business applications or functional solutions for end-to-end design and implementation of the analytics product.
Responsibilities:
Technical Development:
- Develop visualizations, from wireframes to final solutions.
- Create information links to support visualizations.
- Integrate security/ access control in developed Visualization Solutions
- Conduct unit and integration testing based on test scripts.
- Prepare migration documents and transfer knowledge to the support team.
- Continuously learn new analytics tools and develop proof of concepts (POCs) for advanced analytics.
Technical Skills:
- Visualization Tools: Spotfire, QlikSense (Good to have).
- HTML/CSS.
- Data Analysis/Programming Languages: Python, R, C#.
- Infolink Development: SQL.
- Database Concepts: Understanding of schema and modeling.
Communication and Management:
- Ensure effective communication across teams and functions.
- Keep management informed of progress, key issues, and changes that may impact the business.
- Manage people and resources, including third-party resources.
Process Improvement:
- Develop approaches to business system and process assignments.
- Lead business process-related projects requiring coordination with other functions.
- Solve a broad range of system and workflow problems of varying scope and complexity.
Project Management:
- This role may involve a significant amount of project management.
- May serve as business liaison to IT.
- Project management responsibilities include managing internal non-technical business projects from initiation through completion.
- Leads project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, issue resolution and delivery of results.
- Interprets requirements, identifies project scope, plans and directs schedules, monitors project budgets, assigns tasks and tracks performance and milestone achievement.
- Recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments, resource additions or scope changes.
- Ensures effective communication across teams/functions.
- Keeps management informed of progress, key issues and changes which may impact the business.
- Requires people and resource management through others and may include leading third-party resources.
QualificationsBachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
Post-graduate, certification and/or license may be required.
Typically, at least 6+ years relevant experience for entry into this level.
