The Operations Analyst will work closely with the Business Operations team to provide ongoing support and maintenance of the organization’s business systems, data integrity, and operational support (via SFDC case queues).


A successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detailed, process and customer service-oriented individual focused on meeting the needs of a growing and dynamic Operations team via timely execution and communication. This position demands a high-level understanding of process and procedures that drive a successful Operations organization. You will be a part of a dynamic team for reviewing and summarizing customer contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards. Beyond data accuracy, you will look to validate the numbers by understanding the 'story' behind them and incorporating those findings into your processes and reviews.


This position reports to the Manager, Business Operations who is based in Pune, India but will work U.S. central time zone hours.



Here's a closer look at this key role:


  • Plan and drive core customer success reporting including: forecasting, retention metrics, utilization metrics, variable compensation
  • Perform validation to ensure completeness and accuracy of data flowing from CPQ and Finance ERP
  • Review customer contracts for application of appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and the Company's revenue recognition policy
  • Partner with FP&A to develop and provide ongoing analysis in order to assist with forecasting of revenue and deferred revenue
  • Execute all activities required to complete the monthly and quarterly cadence for the Deal Desk and Operations teams
  • Maintains case queues and manages ad-hoc reporting requests for the Operations organization to analyze and monitor their performance at various levels
  • Assist Business Systems in the evolution of our systems and automated reports
What You'll Need:
  • This position works in a team-oriented, cross-departmental environment. The candidate must build and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to learn standard business practices related to Business Operations and systems quickly.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent degree/experience.
  • 2-4 years Experience in an analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides and SalesForce (including SFDC CPQ).
  • Strong attention to detail with effective organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and a desire for continuous learning.
  • Ability to lead and actively participate on working teams.
