Role Description
The Business Management Lead is responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the bank's mission and goals.
Work includes:
- Delivering and improving the functions performed by the Business Management community
- Researching and analyzing industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest
- Identifying and prioritizing improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of discreet sub-units, be they products, desks, infrastructure or control areas of activity or a geographical region
- Developing complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation and plans for projects
- Utilizingcomprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
- Synthesizing and collating business insights for specific divisional stakeholders and supporting the improvement of policies, processes and procedures to deliver consistent and reliable products / services
- Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best value for functions / units
- Building relationships with external points of contact (e.g. regulators, auditors, etc.) and industry bodies
You will be joining Infrastructure Chief Operating Office (Infra COO) team as a Business Management (BM) Lead. Infra COO team is a global team accountable for managing the overall workforce full-time equivalent (FTE) and cost and drive a range of strategic initiatives to optimize the Bank’s Infrastructure global workforce. As a BM Lead, you will be responsible to carry out a set of deliverables– e.g. generating regular reports, support in creating management materials, run day to day processes. This role also requires interacting with stakeholder across the organization for coordinating multiple deliverables.

Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for providing regular business management services to various divisions within Infrastructure – e.g. generating regular reports and analytics, management materials.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders for delivery of business-critical tasks.
- Support implementation of strategy and TOM in-line with local/regional/global standards and change programs, encompassing functional design, footprint and location strategy, organization design principles, people capabilities, minimum control standards, policies, and governance.
- Manage business processes and controls for the region including but not limited to headcount management, MIS, footprint planning and forecasting in line with divisional strategies.
- Develop and produce appropriate Management reports and analysis to be presented to the Divisions' senior leadership team.
- You will be supporting several change initiatives / transformation projects by providing analytics, creating materials, coordinating with teams across the organization.
- Co-ordinate with Finance and HR divisions for data, query, analytics on workforce FTE / cost related matters
- Facilitate process enhancements and overall organizational efficiency with up-to-date awareness and continuous evaluation of business changes and their impact.
- Establish and ensure adherence to global guidelines, governance standards, tools, processes, and controls.
- Provide support on all operational COO matters.
Your skills and experience
- Minimum 12 years of overall working experience. Business Management experience is desirable.
- Highly structured and detail oriented with strong organizational and co-ordination skills and ability to ensure high quality and consistency in sharing and receive information, knowledge, and expertise within a virtual team environment.
- Proven ability to work with management information, mass data and experience of coordinating with multiple stakeholders; especially senior stakeholder management.
- Understanding and experience of using Workday system, data and reporting is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and mind-set to analyze complex situation and advise solution.
- Ability to convert data / information / analysis into high quality management material, i.e., top quality power point presentations, dashboards and excel reports.
- Self-starter and self-motivated to work independently and manage the book of work and ensure clear transparency on progress with clear timely communication of issues.
- Experience in managing teams and having good understanding of all related concepts is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Capable to interact successfully in a virtual, diverse, and multi-cultural environment.
