Agilent’s IT Strategy & Planning Governance organization includes a Business IT (BIT) consultant team whose key accountabilities include: managing Agilent’s IT investment portfolio; partnering with business and functional leadership to plan new initiatives, determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities and help identify opportunities for technology to drive business value; system and process owner of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM); and drives communication across the enterprise regarding IT investment process, progress of key projects and serves as an escalation point when IT processes fail or alignment with business has not occurred.

This position is part of the BIT consultant team.

As a Business IT Process Analyst, your primary accountabilities include:

• Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) functional expert and process owner, supporting Agilent’s IT investment Plan of Record (POR)

  
  

• Project Manager of ServiceNow SPM platform upgrades

  
  

• End-to-End process analysis for IT investment planning and assessing new technologies, identifying opportunities for efficiency and areas of improvements to drive quicker decision-making and business value

  
  

• IT administrative duties to include leading weekly CIO project status reviews and BIT SharePoint site content management

  
  

• Data collection, analysis and development of monthly CIO Operations and enterprise system downtime planning dashboards

  
  

• Quarterly IT accomplishments and strategic priorities scorecard reporting; quarterly CIO new technology review

  
  

Additional responsibilities include:

• Facilitating communications on behalf of the BIT team

  
  

• Business IT Asset Management

  
  

• IT Project Management

  
  

Qualifications

• Overall work experience 8+ years in IT or related technology domain
• MBA or equivalent combination of Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience
• Experience conducting Business or Systems Analysis
• Experience working with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management or equivalent Portfolio & Project Management solution
• Experience in managing project lifecycle, oversight of project teams as they gather functional and technical requirements, project timelines, status reports, issues/risks, and deployment
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
