Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, Regulatory Data Office

Introduction to role


We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and talented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our Regulatory Data Office team. This role requires a strong technical background in data analysis, data design, visualization and reporting tools and frameworks, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high value adding solutions to the business. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the Regulatory business area while developing individual skills and contributing to the team's technical capabilities and overall objectives.


Accountabilities


  • Collaborate with Senior BI Developers and cross-functional teams to assist in the design, development, and testing of analytics and reporting solutions to meet business requirements.


  • Contribute to the identification, gathering, and analysis of data from various data domains and sources to support regulatory submissions and compliance activities.


  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights for regulatory decision-making, process compliance, trend analysis, and performance monitoring.


  • Work closely with Senior BI Developers and Product Owners to ensure the technical solutions align with team objectives and strategic plans, including leveraging the use of AI/ML and Automation.


  • Assist in developing and maintaining technical and business documentation, including GxP documentation and training materials.


  • Learn from and contribute to the mentorship provided by senior team members.


  • Contribute to team performance monitoring, objectives planning, and tactical planning under the guidance of senior team members.


Essential Skills/Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.


  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, data quality, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake, Aperture, Oracle or similar platforms.


  • Expertise in SQL, Python, VBA or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.


  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail with a willingness to learn and grow in a technical role.


Desirable Skills/Experience


  • Familiarity with Regulatory requirements and processes in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.


  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Accumulus) and big data technologies.


  • Knowledge of best practices in software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
