Role & responsibilities:


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for downstream oil & gas solutions, engaging with key decision-makers to drive sales growth.
  • Drive client acquisition and retention efforts, acting as the primary point of contact for both new and existing customers.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating value propositions, negotiating contracts, and closing sales deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Product, Delivery, and Customer Service to enhance the overall client experience and satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to promote offerings, expand market reach, and establish strategic relationships.
  • Evaluate and qualify leads generated by marketing initiatives, mapping out tailored engagement strategies to optimize conversion.
  • Conduct discovery calls, facilitate product demonstrations, and maintain regular follow-ups with clients to gather feedback and strengthen relationships.
  • Utilize cold calling, email outreach, and networking strategies to proactively identify and engage with new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and present quarterly sales reports, analysing key performance metrics, industry trends, and areas for improvement in the sales funnel.
  • Continuously enhance product and industry knowledge, maintaining expertise in company offerings and domain-specific advancements.
  • Drive market awareness and brand positioning efforts within the region to strengthen industry presence.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.

Candidate requirements:


  • 10+ years of experience in software sales preferably in Oil & Gas.
  • Experience selling automation, fleet management, POS, payment, or logistics solutions to the industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or equivalent experience in a related technical, business discipline, or ads/promotions, communication, business management, or a similar field.
  • Have excellent strong problem-solving, present strategic proposals and decision-making skills with demonstrable knowledge of sales techniques to identify opportunity and close deals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, research capabilities, negotiation skills, and essential analytical capabilities.
  • Fluent in English, Hindi, and at least one regional language.
