Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and building strong, long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will manage the sales pipeline, develop new business opportunities, and work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve strategic goals. Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Pipeline Management
- Manage both existing sales pipelines and the development of new business opportunities.
- Compare current sales numbers to desired quotas and adjust strategies as needed.
2. Proposal Development
- Lead the creation of new business proposals and presentations to develop and nurture opportunities and partnerships.
3. Trend Analysis and Pipeline Building
- Identify trends and customer needs to build a sales pipeline aligned with short, medium, and long-term targets.
4. Strategy Development
- Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
5. Marketing Coordination
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies.
- Delegate tasks among team members to achieve strategic goals.
6. Team Motivation and Performance Tracking
- Motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve high performance.
- Track team performance, report metrics, and ensure the team meets its objectives.
7. Industry and Customer Insights
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers.
- Meet regularly with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy and progress.
8. Proposal Management
- Manage the proposal response process, including RFP requirements, content creation, and coordination of inputs from various sources.
9. Lead Generation and Opportunity Management
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers.
- Screen potential business opportunities and select deals aligned with company strategies.
- Facilitate pitch logistics and negotiations.
10. Sales Strategy and Process Improvement
- Develop and implement outbound sales and business development strategies, processes, and best practices across the company.
11. Deal Structuring and Pricing
- Support deal structuring and pricing with business-value analysis.
- Negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
12. Professional Development
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through continuous education, networking, and attending industry events.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales and negotiation with measurable outcomes.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and strategies.
- Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proven ability to plan and manage resources effectively.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to deliver impactful presentations effectively.
