Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Mumbai, India


ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY…


Iron Mountain is urgently looking for a Business Development Manager to drive and support sales efforts by closing key new business opportunities within an existing pipeline. This role will focus on acquiring new customers, retaining existing business, negotiating major deals, and expanding digital business offerings.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead new business development and drive recurring, sustainable revenue growth.
  • Handle major proposals, negotiations, and secure favorable terms for Iron Mountain.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with target accounts through multi-level engagement.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality reporting in line with business requirements.
  • Actively support local compliance with SSHE requirements, company policies, and procedures.
  • Showcase Iron Mountain’s solutions by identifying customer challenges and highlighting competitive advantages.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and contribute to team targets.
  • Collaborate with regional RIM Sales and Account teams to identify and support digital opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth for Iron Mountain’s digital solutions, working consultatively with Pre-Sales Solution Engineers to understand customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7-10+ years in sales management, ideally in digital solutions, data centers, or technology sales with a focus on complex accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in selling digital solutions and managing large outsourcing projects and digitization initiatives.
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills, with fluency in financial and analytical concepts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM tools (preferably Salesforce).

Industry Experience Preferred:


  • Verticals: Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, NBFCs, PSU, Hospitals
  • Sectors: Enterprise/Manufacturing, IT & ITES, Life Sciences/Pharma, Media & Entertainment, Legal & Energy
