Business Data Analyst II, Support OpsThe Data Analyst II will work as part of a high functioning Production Operations team, tasked with supporting day to day operations of legal services. Independently define and develop solutions, with minimal direction, for a wide range of technical problems. Participate in team meetings and other collaborations, as well as design and peer reviews. Be flexible; prepared to approach things laterally; able to think outside the box. Interface with business stakeholders, to identify or clarify requirements to address various problems.  Customer service centric focus with the business and their clients as the customer has been key to our growing success and leadership in the market. This role will work from Hyderabad office in 6:30pm – 2:30am IST shift.The day-to-day responsibilities include but not limited to:Provide mentorship and guidance for other team members.Lead business efforts for various client data needs and drive them to completionServe as a resource for executing ad-hoc data requests, custom reports, test scenarios, data migration, data analysis and quality assurance testing in a production environmentMigrate and modernize legacy reporting into dynamic, robust self-service reporting systems.Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualizationSeek to establish and implement process improvements at the direction of the department managerResponsible for establishing appreciation and adherence to the principles of data quality management, including metadata, lineage, and business definitionsA highly motivated team player and an organized, strategic thinker who is passionate about dataPossess exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBe comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentBe detail and process oriented with demonstrated excellence in accuracy, service delivery, time management and prioritizationEssential traits:A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and 7+ years of experience in processes and standards related to data, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Proficient with data engineering fundamentals including data extraction, transformation and load using databases with large data volumesExcellent written and verbal communicationsCommitment to obtaining outstanding results, delivering high quality work with a client centric mindsetSignificant experience in the design, development, and review of complex SQL and Python scriptsDemonstratable technical experience with some of the following:Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQLScripting and exploration: Python, SQLVisualization: Power BIBig data: Spark, DatabricksCloud computing: Azure, AWSExperience performing complex data analysis of large datasetsExperience tuning T-SQL queriesExperience using source controlDeep expertise with advanced Excel and data manipulationAbility to analyze data to perform data cleansing and data manipulation to assure data is in the correct formatAbility to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the businessAbout KrollIn a world of disruption and increasingly complex business challenges, our professionals bring truth into focus with the Kroll Lens.
