We are searching for a Business Controller to join our team in SMR-Assembly Center, Hinjewadi Pune.


The role


Proactively participate in the development of business control, finance analysis and performance management process for the PU.  


The Controller is responsible to do Budgeting, Forecasting, Product costing, Compliance management and to handle various types of audits.


Areas of responsibility:-


As the Process Excellence Lead, you will be accountable for all Process evaluations and thereby identifying the improvement opportunities in all the Operational functions of the PU (Production, Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, Planning). Another key responsibility will be on leading the SAP activities for the PU. The PU is scheduled to go for upgrade of the existing instance, needs to have the setup of export, integration of Teamcenter with SAP, go for various change requests as per the business needs; all these activities and the daily support on issue resolution for each module is expected from this position.  


Additional responsibilities include:


Budgeting


- Referring to the Master Production schedule, budget the Direct & Indirect expenses


- Detail analysis on HC required, Capex required and strategy for executing the same


Forecasting


- Prepare running forecasting for next 6 quarters as per Sandvik standard


- Monitor plan vs actual on a monthly basis


- Set internal controls to achieve the planned financial goals on a monthly basis and monitor the progress


- Initiate activities to setup a control mechanism with respective function lead


- Monitor Indirect & Direct spend per month


Compliance Management


- Define all the statutory and Sandvik defined compliances for the PU


- Setup a compliance calendar and review the progress on a monthly basis. Highlight the potential non compliances and monitor actions initiated to bring them on track


Business performance reporting


- On a monthly basis, generate business performance reports to include Utilization, Inventory management, Revenue, TP metrics


- Division specific report submission by specified timeline (such as COGS, TP, etc.)


Your profile


Education / Experience


Chartered Accountant / ICMAI / MBA with 8-10 Year Experience in Preferably in the Construction equipment/manufacturing industry.


Competencies


Excellent self-management and project management skills


Hands on experience and knowledge on business financial aspects  


Hands on experience in handling financial activities of a manufacturing facility   


Highly motivated and able to work in a team environment


Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Project)


Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, time management and planning skills


Excellent oral and written communication skills


Good understanding on EHS Standards


Must be detail oriented, and perform well under pressure
