The primary role of this position is to offer dedicated analytical and reporting support for the team on operational metrics, reporting, and analytics. The Corporate Investment Banking-Receivables Operations (RO) Data Analytics, Design, & Reporting Associate will work closely with key Business owner/leads to promote the development of reporting, analytics, and operational metrics. Key projects will include the development of a management dashboard, operational metrics, and creating decks.


As a Business Analytics & Reporting - Automation - Associate in the Analytics team, you will provide dedicated analytical & reporting support for the team on operational metrics, reporting, and analytics. You will partner closely with key Business owner / leads to promote the development of reporting, analytics, and operational metrics. This includes the development of a management dashboard, operational metrics, and creating decks.


Job Responsibilities: 


  • Provide dedicated analytical & reporting support to the team on operational metrics, reporting and analytics 
  • Develop visually appealing dashboards using Tableau and Excel
  • Develop automation using Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Develop a deep understanding of operations systems and processes in order to build meaningful insights with data while identifying and recommending process improvements, enhancements, refinement to reporting stack and analytics 
  • Define, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Receivables Process
  • Fulfill ad-hoc data queries and business analysis requests to support the business with valuable insights and data in decision-making 
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Offshore & Onshore team through strong communication and participation in discussions related to data, ideation, reporting, Resiliency & regulatory requirements. 
  • Create executive presentations (both one-pager slides and structured presentations – in PowerPoint or any other tool) for senior management 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • Minimum 6 years of total experience, primarily on data visualization i.e., Tableau along with - operations and Business Analytics
  • Expertise with Tableau in building of data models, LOD(s), data hierarchies, data blending, implementing security at dashboard and data level (based on roles) and Tableau Auto / server
  • Hands on with automation using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Reporting using multiple data sources, sharepoint lists and web scrapping)
  • Proven history of delivering timely, high quality, senior manager-level reporting and analysis from diverse, complex data sources
  • Strong data analysis/quantitative aptitude with ability to quickly learn new metrics, operations processes, and datasets 
  • Strong ability to convert data into information and insights through visualization & presentations 
  • Strong attention to detail Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills 
  • Leverage subject matter expertise in driving conversations and/or influencing decisions/direction with Business / stakeholders
  • Excellent partnership record and ability to build effective business relationships required to leverage parts of the organization as required 
  • Create executive presentations (both individual slides and structured presentations)
