We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst or Sr. Business Analyst with a solid background in Oracle EBS Payroll functional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, systems, and the ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize payroll operations using Oracle EBS.
This role requires a candidate who can work with a time zone overlap of 3-4 hours with PST to collaborate effectively with teams across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Oracle EBS Payroll, and translate them into functional specifications.
- Oracle EBS Payroll Expertise: Provide functional expertise on Oracle EBS Payroll modules to ensure the system is meeting business needs and is optimized for payroll processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives.
- System Configuration & Testing: Assist with the configuration, testing, and implementation of Oracle EBS Payroll functionality, ensuring smooth deployment and operation.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in payroll workflows and suggest solutions to streamline and optimize the payroll system.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide functional support for any payroll-related issues, working to troubleshoot and resolve system and process-related challenges.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for payroll processes, configurations, and functional requirements.
- Time Zone Collaboration: Coordinate with teams in the Pacific Time Zone (PST), ensuring effective communication and collaboration during the 3-4 hours of overlap.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Sr. Business Analyst with a strong focus on Oracle EBS Payroll functional.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS Payroll modules and functional capabilities.
- Time Zone Flexibility: Availability for 3-4 hours of overlap with PST to support collaboration with teams in the Pacific Time Zone.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex business problems and provide functional solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues effectively and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Oracle HRMS, Oracle Financials).
- Experience in a similar role within [Industry Name].
