Job Summary:
As a Pricing Execution Analyst at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking- Data and Analytics, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review various area-specific control and monitoring reports used across the pricing teams for key initiatives.
- Explore opportunities to streamline the dispositioning process and manage large volumes of data through automation and enhancements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Identify areas for implementing new controls across various pricing execution processes.
- Conduct end-to-end reviews and investigations on the reporting framework.
- Understand business requirements and create comprehensive documentation.
- Lead validation results meetings, actively solicit feedback from strategy teams on findings from the reporting framework, and document them. Maintain timelines and feedback loops with strategy and control partners to ensure all findings are mitigated within the chosen timeline.
- Identify and effectively communicate control gaps in the processes.
- Collaborate with appropriate business leads to determine next steps for resolving true investigation findings.
- Create and maintain job aids and procedures for all processes and control procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation and leverage skills in VBA, SQL, SAS, and Python for that purpose.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in reviewing and monitoring key business initiatives and processes
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience in coding Python and SQL or SAS.
- Experience in developing automation frameworks leveraging VBA / Excel macros.
- Worked in a Risk and control environment in any domain especially managing the teams control procedures and documentation of those.
- Able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions (i.e.- understanding root cause, identifying control breaks, developing timely and automated solutions, analyze metrics for any gaps in Pricing core systems.
- Team player with the ability to work independently, ability to work multiple problems simultaneously.
- Excellent communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner, networking.
- Be extremely detail-oriented in regard to verbal and written documentation and communication
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong business acumen, accountability and communication skills. Has good problem solving skills with experience on Automating process leveraging SAS, Python, Tableau etc
- Experience in working in Agile working environment with strong communication Credit Card Domain knowledge preferred
- Experience in working on automation tools like VBA/SQL and SAS and Python
- Ability to communicate the control findings and implement the procedures to fix the gaps
- Mainframe knowledge preferred.
- Experience in working on automation tools like selenium and Alteryx preferred.
- Ability to work in Shift Timing 1 PM to 10 PM IST.
