Job Description

Job Summary: 


This Business Analyst will collaborate with Card Pricing Business process owners to review identified issues and understand how to bring them into alignment with regulatory and strategic requirements. This role will also be responsible for fully documenting the process, partnering with colleagues to validate and QC, review, raise and track any identified exceptions  and provide support throughout the lifecycle of the report all while maintaining a strong controls environment ensuring a stable and secure Pricing core processes platform.


The role is with an exciting and wide ranging Book of Work, the team provides a fantastic opportunity to learn a suite of new skills that the candidate can leverage throughout their career, while also playing a key role in the efforts to enhance the Pricing execution and Controls environment. 


The Team plays an integral role in managing  potential gaps  by facilitating solutions to complex problems that is not confined to one sub-line of pricing business. Drive automation to deliver solutions across monitoring, analysis, identification of any process gaps  and executing/recommending the fixes for air tight control environment.


  • Review Various area specific control & Monitoring Reports used across the Pricing teams for various key initiatives.
  • Identify opportunity areas to implement new controls across various pricing execution processes.
  • Lead Validation Results meetings, solicit feedback from Strategy teams on any findings from the reporting framework and document them. Maintain timelines and feedback loop with Strategy & control partners to ensure all applicable findings are mitigated as per the chosen timeline.
  • Critically analyze audit scenarios, provide insights, and identify population.  
  • Perform end to end on the process reviews and exception dispositioning.
  • Understand business requirements and create documentation for the same .
  • Identify and effectively trace to communicate on control gaps in the processes.
  • Work with appropriate business leads to determine the acceptable range for test results and performance.
  • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
  • Create & maintain job aids & procedures for all the processes and control procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and automate( in SAS, SQL, Excel VBA and Python) to reduce manual efforts.
  • Review automation processes at certain intervals and draw a correlation between business and technical flow. 
  • Provide critical analysis on control reporting findings, executing regulatory mandates, establish or recommend any new control frameworks.
  • Drive automation to deliver solutions across pricing execution and control reporting landscape.
  • Assist with control governance and reporting strategy to identify meaningful metrics to inform on Key pricing processes , operation risk and control environment; escalate control deficiencies based on key reporting indicators
  • Contribute to the coordination and support of various Pricing strategic control reporting analysis and investigation initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.


  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in reviewing and monitoring key business initiatives and processes 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in coding on VBA Macros, SQL, SAS(Advanced) and Python
  • 2+ Years of Python language coding experience from Reporting and Automation standpoint.
  • Support audit processes and help them to understand the process and document the findings. 
  • Worked in a Risk and control environment in any domain especially managing the teams control procedures and documentation of those.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently, ability to work multiple problems simultaneously.
  • Be extremely detail-oriented regarding verbal and written documentation and communication.
  • Proficient knowledge of Control management concepts with the ability to design, create and evaluate the Operational Risk & Control environment in conjunction with business partners.
  • Problem solving/Analytical skills - Solid critical thinking, attention to details and analytical skills.
  • Able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions (i.e.- understanding root cause, identifying control breaks, developing timely and automated  solutions, analyze metrics for emerging risk.
  • Business knowledge (ability to understand business/knowledge of regulations surrounding business).
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner, networking.
  • Able to work autonomously to affect change, process analysis/design acumen, problem solving/analytical skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in working in Agile working environment with strong communication 
  • Credit Card Domain knowledge preferred 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in working on automation tools like VBA/SQL and SAS and Python.
  • Mainframe knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in working on automation tools like selenium and Alteryx preferred.
  • Ability to communicate the control findings and implement the procedures to fix the gaps.
  • Ability to work in Shift Timing 1 PM to 10 PM IST
