Job Summary
We are seeking a Prophet21 (P21) Techno-Functional Specialist with 7+ years of experience to manage P21 functionalities, integrations, and compliance. The role involves collaborating with diverse teams, providing technical input, and ensuring system performance and accuracy. Strong communication skills and expertise in PL/SQL are essential.
Responsibilities
- Understand end-to-end P21 core functionalities used in Trane, interactions with other boundary applications, and network topology.
- Attend calls with business teams on new requirements, initiatives, and ongoing issues in the P21 space, providing techno-functional input.
- Participate in weekly calls with BOS Teams and the P21 Program Management Team to provide technical input, identify escalation needs, and report up.
- Collaborate closely with developers to implement requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process.
- Coordinate with the Trane Sourcing Team and P21 Vendor (Epicor) on IT sourcing requests for licenses, projects, and continuous improvement engagements.
- Work closely with external application support partners on incidents and enhancement requests, managing cross-functional dependencies with other application teams (Oracle R12, Salesforce, Enterprise Customer, Network Teams, etc.).
- Provide weekly reports on ongoing processes, items needing attention or escalation, and general updates from the P21 space.
- Collaborate with Network & Firewall support teams and ITSP teams on network and performance-related issues reported by the stores.
- Work with Epicor and external application support partners to gather and maintain a repository of design and technical specification documents on Trane-specific customizations.
- Proactively communicate risks associated with solution design integrity to key stakeholders.
- Manage the gatekeeping of enhancement requests in ServiceNow by collaborating with multiple applications and business functions.
- Coordinate with Trane Finance, Accounts Payables team, and Vendor's Billing team to validate the accuracy of invoices.
- Travel up to 15% may be required in the future.
- Review operational excellence with continuous improvement activities.
- Provide assistance to both technical and business users in identifying and resolving system issues.
- Willingness to adjust work hours to ensure coverage until at least 12 Noon US Central Time, with occasional flexibility either way as needed.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of P21 techno-functional on-premises experience.
- Expert knowledge of integration flows between P21 and other boundary applications (like Oracle R12 EBS, Salesforce etc.) using API integrations & middleware solutions like Fusion or similar.
- Proficient in using tools like SOAP UI, Postman, or similar.
- Completion of at least one P21 ERP implementation in a techno-functional role.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment with a diverse team and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of PL/SQL development and support requirements.
- Experience troubleshooting, performance tuning, and testing applications and environments.
- Ability to manage high-priority tasks while effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple concurrent issues.
- Ability to work in a team and involve all appropriate team members for support and maintenance in an application.
- Familiarity with audit and compliance processes, and experience working with external auditors to ensure systems and processes are compliant.
