Role Description
- Deutsche Bank’s Legal Department engages external law firms and DB Lawyers for the provision of legal services. This represents a significant level of spend for the Bank.
- Document management system commonly referred to as “DMS”. DMS is an integrated global document management platform in Deutsche Bank. Document management system encompasses the many components necessary to successfully run Legal Operations documents and fully integrate Legal as a strategic partner for the rest of the business.
- DMS Business Analyst involves managing all activities surrounding corporate legal practice.
- DMS BA expected to advise and support their business colleagues on a wide array of topics. Regardless of the subject area, however, all corporate legal services depend on a few common functions to ensure their effective delivery.
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing legal team.
- BA is a building block of team and key contributor towards gather business requirements, Data Analysis and coordinating with business Stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities
- Be a catalyst for the development team to follow agile methods (SCRUM, KANBAN) of delivering product increments.
- Understand the business processes, user personas and collaborate with project stakeholders for achieving product vision.
- Write business requirements and functional specification via User stories following the INVEST principle.
- Prepare the wireframes, idea mock-ups and UML diagrams needed to support business requirements.
- Challenge the requirements where needed for better clarity and efficiency.
- Lead the release/sprint planning sessions with the activities of requirement prioritization & estimations.
- Conducting requirement walkthrough sessions to explain the requirements to the team of quality assurance & developers.
- Collaborate with quality assurance members for functional test case generation and test result validation along with sanity testing.
- Enable and support the user acceptance testing before the production release.
- Post Go-live collaborate with quality assurance team to triage and log defects with detailed specifications.
- Basic Data analysis using proficiency of SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Prepare data driven power point presentations for given use cases aligning with product roadmap.
- Maintain and continuously update requirement backlogs in JIRA.
- Maintain and continuously update product/process know how's in Confluence.
- Ensure that end users and support teams are correctly trained to use solutions being delivered by the project.
- Support implementation team and solve post go-live issues.
- Provide required assistance to Product Owner, Technical Lead, IT Application Owner
Your skills and experience
Relevant Experience – 3 to 10 Years
- Fluency in English (written/verbal).
- Excellent communication and documentation / presentation skills.
- Experience working with business requirements through to system level Functional Specifications.
- Experience in business analysis, data analytics or UX (user experience).
- Experience managing product backlogs, sprint planning and support product increment release end to end.
- Good analytical and problem-solving experience and ability to independently identify issues, grasping new concepts, provide insights and solutions and oversee their delivery.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong planning and highly organized with ability to priorities key deliverables across several work streams.
- Self-motivation and flexibility to work autonomously, coupled with the ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.
- Ability to influence and motivate other team members and stakeholders.
- Proficient knowledge of methods and tooling for the Business Functional Analysis Profession.
- Proficiency of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive etc.
- Knowledge and experience in the usage of modern SDLC tools Jira, Confluence, SQLs
- Preferable: Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management or Document Management Systems
- Degree from an accredited college or university with a preference for Computer Science (or IT related streams).
- Business Analysis certification such as CBAP or above (and/or relevant work experience).
