Capital Market Risk
Northern Trust is looking to recruit professionals for its Bangalore/Pune Centre. Successful recruit would be part of Northern Trust’s Capital Markets Credit Risk Team. This is a highly visible role, to work on key regulatory projects, frequent interaction with business partners across the globe.


Senior Analyst/Associate Consultant, Capital Market Risk is a key member of the team and will have responsibilities that consist mainly of business process analysis, requirement gathering, data analysis and documentation.


Job title: Senior Analyst / Associate Consultant
Location: Bangalore/ Pune (Hybrid model, 3 days per week in office)
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience


Major Duties
• Understand the business process, analyse the multiple data sources/systems, translate business requirements into technical specifications and subsequently work with technical developers / business stakeholders 
• Identify opportunities for enhancing value proposition along with data chain and ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
• Plan/Setup meetings with key stakeholders (Business, Risk, Compliance, IT), manage the meetings through a structured agenda and document discussions
• Understand Data and Analytics projects both from a business aspects and support the data analytics need of the department; participate in special projects as needed and perform other duties in line with priority


Qualification
• Master/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Data Analytics or a related field preferably from Tier 1 institution


Skills Required
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modelling, and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills coupled with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of relevant tools such as SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Visio, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, etc
• Experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry is preferred
