The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

About the Role:


The Business Analyst role involves offering detailed design and build tracking support at the outset, progressing to tracking support during the System Integration Testing (SIT) phase for an SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The responsibilities include monitoring readiness and dependencies for sprint entry, tracking the execution progress through sprints, and confidently following up with stakeholders at different levels to address missing data, overdue tasks, or discrepancies.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities


  • Support detailed design and build tracking
  • Track readiness and dependencies for sprint entry
  • Monitor and track execution progress through sprints
  • Proactively follow up with stakeholders to address missing data, overdue tasks, or discrepancies, etc.,
  • Identify and drive process improvements.
  • Utilize Jira and Power BI for tracking and reporting
  • Utilize strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrate proven data analytical skills, including:
    • Filtering data and identifying missing values
    • Reviewing data for accuracy and relevance
    • Identifying patterns and trends
    • Creating visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards
    • Preparing reports and presentations to communicate data findings to stakeholders
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support continued development of world class programme support office capability and ensure that standard methodology is reinforced


This is a fast-paced demanding environment that requires the Project Manager to have a collaborative, approach and know how develop and work with successful teams.


Education, Qualifications and Experience:


  • Relevant Technical or Business Degree
  • Knowledgeable in all phases of the project management life cycle.
  • Strong data driven approach
  • Experience in project tracking and data analysis
  • Experience in using Jira and Power BI tools
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated data analytical skills
  • Effective communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to work well in and lead/collaborate across diverse matrixed global teams.
  • Experience beyond a standard end user in Jira and Power BI is a plus
