FMCRT (Finance, Market and Credit Risk Technology) is one of the vital segments under CITI’s operation & technology function, which focuses on Finance, Capital, Liquidity and Risk (counterparty, credit, etc.) tech support platform within the CITI.
FRMT (Finance Resource Management Technology) team takes the full responsibility from derivative and secured financing transaction manipulation to data analysis and reporting. Outbound data/feeds/reports from liquidity management team are used by external regulators, internal senior management teams, front desks, and downstream liquidity/capital/risk reporting.
Job Responsibility
Successful candidate will conduct requirement management, data analysis, problem-solving, and will cover the following responsibilities:
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions.
- Organize/join audio/video sessions with global stakeholders independently and outline meeting minutes quickly of good quality.
- Act as the intermediary between stakeholders and development team, conduct clear requirement analysis for development team, eliminate understanding gap to ensure team is on the right way for business.
- Provide reasonable project timeline to business clients, keep frequent communication with clients/PM on status/potential risks, to ensure service delivery to meet the deadline.
- Write UAT test cases, review UAT result and responsible for get approval from correlated business.
- Write BRD/FRD in a timely manner of high quality
- Conduct data analysis to locate and resolve any possible issues or implement new data operation tasks
- To escalate issues in an effective manner and resolve these in conjunction with rest of team/business stakeholders
- Support project manager to prepare presentation/meeting materials
Job Requirement
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business/data analyst role, 1+ years financial project working experience
- Rich experience in relationship database tool like SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, Netezza
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills independently and quickly
- Moderate level experience in Application Development/Business Intelligence role, or capable to use Python data analysis lib (SciPy, NumPy, Matplotlib)
- Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio)
- Work under ambiguity, result oriented, focus on attitude/details
- Know secured financing like Repurchase, security lending and other common financial products (FX, Swap, Options, Derivatives) is a big plus
- Experience on data warehousing and business intelligence concepts is a plus
