Whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or simply take you in an exciting new direction, HSBC offers opportunities, support and rewards that will take you furtherWPB Business ManagementThe job holder is a key member of the INM WPB Business management team, accountable for driving delivery of the WPB Cost strategy and ensuring execution of business plans by working in partnership with the assigned stakeholders, for maximizing WPB profitability and to take advantage of opportunities/ mitigate risks.The key tasks will include all or some of the following:Assisting with the execution of Cost Management initiatives and activities to support Business Growth for INM WPBEffectively identify, drive, monitor and review Cost Management initiatives to recycle costs towards WPB growthParticipate and support in business planning activities which may include financial, technological and resource planning. Tracking of IT InvestmentsEffectively manage both Direct & Indirect Costs for WPB India with relevant country/ regional and group stakeholdersContribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedbackSupport in forums and committees to represent view of business area and business casesSupport the development and monitoring of internal governance activities including cost management and accrual forumsEvaluate and analyse management information relating to external service providers of their provision, monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are honouredPrinciple Accountability:Identify areas of opportunity for improvement in cost performanceDrive the delivery of INM WPB Branch network business strategy. Work with Head Business Management to develop plans for strategy implementation. Liaise with FIN/Strategy & Planning on FRP, Strategic planning, etc, as guided by Head of Business ManagementDrive strategic initiatives across the WPB Branch Network to optimize Branch Network plans, CS plans in line with WPB CRE plansTracking of IT costs , utilization versus budgets and managem,ent reportingDirect and promote a data-driven decision-making culture through the provision of accurate, timely and insightful information to all levels of management and individuals across the channelsAccountable for any other project which is assigned from time to timeAccountable for Financial resource planning across cost lines and product linesAccountable for accurate forecasting, reviewing and monitoring of all cost lines
