What is the BSP Reconciliation Operations Specialist responsible for?
  • BSP is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative individual to join the team as a Recon Operations Specialist.


  • The individual in this position will work on a team of operations professionals and report to the BSP Vice President.


  • BSP’s operational headquarters are based in Boston, MA and support the investment team located in New York, NY.


What are the ongoing responsibilities of a BSP Reconciliation Operations Specialist?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Daily review, action and escalation of position, cash, and data reconciliations for broad range of funds and asset classes


  • Research and solve breaks using various third-party data sources


  • Liaise with third-party Custodians, Administrators, Prime Brokers, and Vendors


  • Collaborate with various teams across BSP, including Finance, Operations, Portfolio Analytics, and the Front Office


Qualifications:


The successful candidate will ideally possess:


  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in reconciliation


  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)


  • Base knowledge of equity, bonds and bank loans preferable


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics


  • Proficient computer skills including applications within Microsoft Office 


  • Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills


  • Self-motivated, ability to manage own time


  • Exceptional communicator


Job Level - Individual Contributor


Work Shift Timings – 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
