We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bluetooth System Validation Technical Lead/Program Manager for the design, planning, and execution of validation strategies for Intel Bluetooth solutions. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams, including validation engineers, firmware developers, product managers, and test teams, to ensure that the Bluetooth products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and interoperability across various environments. As a Bluetooth Technical lead, the person shall play a pivotal role in defining and implementing best practices for Bluetooth validation, contributing to the development of next-generation Bluetooth.
* Plans/initiate/manages both programs and projects that are directly tied to Validation of connectivity technology or products for external customers.
* Technically lead and guide set of validation engineers to deliver the planned validation coverage.
* Determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
* Drive quarterly roadmap and resource planning activities and deliverables
* Resolve project conflicts, dependencies and establish appropriate resolution paths.
* Prepare Capacity plan, Milestone planning to meet the required Quality Requirement Criteria
* Prepare and present program and project status to key stakeholders in validation, development and Product line at regular intervals.
* Monitoring and reporting the Quality monitoring WoW/YoY/MoM and bugs quality maintenance
* Regularly does the Program retrospective for Bluetooth core
* Represents the org on the root cause analysis on any escape bugs in development and Validation TCCB
* Technically lead and represent in Task Forces
* Close interface with the Customer interface teams, OEMs/ODMs in customer bug management
* Bluetooth core representative and escalation point to Development and Product Line management
Qualification
* Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science from a reputed college
* 5 years of work experience in a Technical Lead and Technical Program Management role
* 5-7 years of hands-on work experience in system debugging and validation roles
* Proven track record of developing and executing complex system validation strategies for Connectivity products.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills to top management
* Efficient collaboration cross functional with cross functional teams globally
* Creative and initiative mind set to bridge gaps that are shifting the regular MOO and make the execution more efficient continuously
Technical Expertise
* Deep Technical knowledge and Strong hands-on experience with Bluetooth technologies, including Bluetooth LE, Bluetooth Classic, and Bluetooth Mesh.
* Excellent understanding of Bluetooth in stress and stability domain in device and platform level- advantage
* Debugging, Analysis, reproduction and identification of root cause on Bluetooth domains
* Deep knowledge and experience working in Air (Ellisys), Snoop, HCI level traces analysis
* Collaborate with Research and Development teams to identify design and performance gaps, providing technical feedback and proposing corrective actions.
* Ensure that validation environments can effectively simulate diverse network conditions, traffic loads, interference scenarios, and client devices.
* Very good exposure to capturing and performing initial analysis of HCI , Air traces and Ellisys Bluetooth traces
* Good in programing languages - C++/C#, Python and scripting languages
* Exposure to defect tracking methodologies and JIRA tool.
* Ability to technically lead/guide/mentor junior validation engineers.
